Paddle Boards-

What types of paddle boards do you sell?

As a company we are onto our third brand paddle board that we carry/carried. We are constantly searching for the best in quality and attractiveness on the market. Currently we carry both Aztron and Hurley paddle board products. We recently started working with Hurley and became shop #5 in the country to carry their paddle boards. Hurley has been great to work with, and happily honor their product and warranty ensuring you always have the best experience if anything ever does happen to go wrong.

Their boards are definitely a step above from what is out there, and have an attention to detail with their boards that we have yet to come across with any other company we have worked with. Intelligent design, fantastic features, and a full kit all at a reasonable price point.

Each board comes with its very own dry bag to ensure your adventure is fully equipped with everything you need keeping your valuables safe and dry, prepared for the trip ahead.

Since the advent of our company we have maintained a strong focus on inflatable boards because they are incredibly versatile and portable, have an easier, more digestible price point, and have became more popular for those of you on the go dominating 70% of all paddle board purchases.

We carry many different types of boards suited specifically toward the activity you are looking to achieve on your new paddle board. These different types are: your most popular: the all around paddle board, suited for touring, tracking, some small surfing, and leisure paddle board use.

This type of board is perfect for those of you starting out that are just getting acclimated with paddle boarding, or for those that have rented before, but looking for a board of your own.

It also works very well as a primary board for those of you that have been paddle boarding for a while, but aren't looking to choose a board specific to one certain paddle boarding activity.

We also sell yoga and fitness boards that you sacrifice some speed on, but gain stability, for various yoga or fitness maneuvers you are looking to accomplish.

We sell touring and tracking boards with a sharper nose that will give you more speed on the water for a longer paddle.

We will soon bring in kid sized boards again for you younger paddlers.

We even have different racing paddle boards in stock for those of you that are more advanced and looking for a secondary board to add to your quiver or if you just want to go fast. These boards are specifically rated for speed and will give your best edge while out on the water.

Last season we even brought in some hard board options that are made from the very best materials available to be as light as possible, while not neglecting performance: made out of fiberglass, bamboo, and even carbon fiber.

Why would I purchase this paddle board instead of one from Amazon or Walmart?

From our own experience and countless customer experiences that have been shared with us, many times when you purchase from a big box store at a low price point you are playing the lottery. At times you may get lucky and get a good board for a fair price, but there are times you lose on quality by saving on price. Our boards are of the utmost quality, tested, inspected, authenticated, and approved all before coming to your front door.

We work with you every step of the way maintaining close communication in the event that some thing isn't perfect or up to your standards. By purchasing from us you can walk away confident knowing that we are here for you and you are confidently purchasing something that will work for you for hours of future use, and that you can enjoy every moment of your experience.

Through every purchase you are also helping to support providing clean, safe drinking water around the globe, because with each purchase a portion of those proceeds goes to charity: water, a charity organization we are very passionate about. And currently at the moment of writing this, 51,438 water projects have been funded in 28 countries around the globe.

What protection do I have with my paddle board purchase?

Upon purchase each paddle board comes with a 1 Year Manufacturers Warranty protecting your purchase from any manufacturers defects. Each inflatable board also comes equipped with a repair kit.

Do you sell electric pumps for your paddle boards?

Yes, we have sold them in the past and looking to get them in again next season.

How fast can I have my paddle board delivered?

If you reside in the continental United States you can expect to receive your board in less than a week. If you reside outside of the U.S your board delivery can take up to 2-3 weeks. As soon as your board is processed and shipped we will send you an email with your tracking number or to your phone number depending on which contact information you provided.

Custom Skateboards-

For our complete customs currently we offer both a Standard and Premium custom complete to ensure we provide the best in quality and can meet your price point.

The standard complete is built with above average standard components (like Krux trucks, mini logo bearings, standard bulk hardware, bulk jessup tape etc.) while with the premium, we add components that are step above and of the highest quality in the market.

With the premium model we will sometimes add in graphic tape to color match the deck, higher quality bearings (reds), and higher quality wheels (bones, spitfire etc.), and top tier skate trucks (thunder, venture, independent, ace etc.)

Each custom is always inspected and approved before your shipment. With the premium experience you have more influence on your final product, and are free to make any suggestions or recommendations by email or in the notes section at checkout. We want to make this experience fun and exciting for you and give you the feeling that you are a major part of it.

This also simplifies the process for you and gives you little guess work so you can be confident the board we build will work perfect for you. We soon will offer further customization options on each product page where you can choose between various wheel and truck options through our next update coming this year.

What size skateboard will work for me?

Skateboards are generally measured by width but the more narrow a board is you will find it is shorter in length opposed to a wider popsicle board being longer. In our pre-built category we carry boards as small as 7.25" referred to as minis which normally will work for someone 7 years old or below.

It is best to decide board size based off shoe size, opposed to height. You don't want your feet to hang off the sides, but also don't want the board to be too big where it becomes awkward for a smaller rider. The smaller the board is the easiest it will be to perform flip tricks since it's less board weight to flip.

The bigger the board is the more stability you will gain and it will be better suited for cruising on your board. Some choose to go with a bigger size when skating for the first time to become more comfortable with the board, and to learn your footing, balance, and while learning to ride the board. Once you get this down, you can become more technical with choosing the exact size that works for you.

A good starting size for most skaters between 10-15 is 7.75" depending on your size and foot size. This is a good in between size that will give you stability and help you learn tricks. This is a great size to start with to learn best what size works for you.

Skater trainers are a great way to improve your ability and to learn tricks.

For our customs we normally start at 7.75" and go up from there, all the way up to 9". The most common board size we have found across our customers is 8.25".

Why would I choose a custom build skateboard over a pre-built skateboard?

Custom built boards have a greater attention to detail during the build process personally crafted by hand with each board we help create. We take the deck, trucks, grip, wheels and bearings processing the board for you making sure what we build for you is always above par.

A pre-built board is still built with quality in mind, but is instead factory made at a greater production level, before it arrives to us. This means that many times the trucks are always at a standard level, but of less quality generally than what we provide in our custom standard option.

The bearings used in a pre-built board are always bulk bearings and are generally leaning towards the lowest abec level meaning the quality is less compared to our customs, and are generally slower.

Though there boards are a step above what you would find as a pre-built option at Walmart or Amazon, and is the most affordable skateboard option we have available.

This board unlike the cheap ones you find that we mentioned prior will provide a good option that will awaken the love and passion of skateboarding with someone who wants to pick skating up as a sport, not break the bank, but also help to encourage a young skater.

What types of skate wheels should I use if I want to ride on the street and what skate wheels should I use for a skatepark?

The wheels you choose are based off your preference and what you feel most comfortable using. The type of skateboarding you plan on doing also determines the type of wheel: vert, flat ground, rails, etc. A good rule of thumb starting out is basing the wheel you choose off the durometer. Durometer is a grade of the hardness/softness level of the wheel.

The lower the durometer number i.e 78a the softer the wheel: used mostly for street purposes allowing you to glide effortlessly over rougher terrains, such as rough payment and over small rocks and divots in the road.

The higher the durometer number i.e 101a the harder the wheel: these wheels are made from a formula of plastic that makes the wheel much harder, these are built better for the skate park allowing you to tear through hard smooth pavement improving your speed and holding up better through the test of time.

It's sometimes nice to have a soft set and a hard set depending on the type of skate sesh you plan on doing for the day.

A common popular wheel size for most riders is between 52mm-54mm. The bigger the wheel, the faster the wheel.

Why wouldn't I just purchase a less expensive skateboard from Walmart, Target or Amazon?

Many who do this begin to regret the decision shortly after. You may be saving some money on the front end, but purchasing cheap can be a costly decision in the long-term. You will soon realize that many of the parts need to be upgraded and it will cost you more over time than buying a quality board up front. You may even have to replace the entire board and will wish you just bought a quality option in the beginning.

Purchasing a cheapo board also means cheaper materials which can be very discouraging for a young skater starting out making the skater believe that he/she is inadequate and lacks any skill causing them to quickly give up.

These board manufacturers that produce boards for these big box stores skimp on many of the components: the grip tape lacks the proper grip you need to learn tricks, the deck is not made of the same high grade quality Canadian maple and resembles plywood making them too heavy to effectively learn any tricks, sometimes even using a smooth sticker on top instead of actual grip tape, making it difficult to ever replace and not serving the intended purpose of helping you "stick" to the top of your board.

The wheels while they hardly spin due to the poor quality of the bearings, the wheels are plastic and will stop you in your tracks if you ever hit a small rock making them dangerous. Sometimes the trucks are even plastic, causing them to make the board even more dangerous leading to the board breaking easily causing potential injury.

Since these boards are of poor quality if you ever decide to give it up they have no resale value and you hardly get any of the money back you originally paid, compared to reselling a quality skateboard that depending on collectible value can sometimes even appreciate in value from the time you purchased it. (dependent on condition)

What type of protection do I have with my purchase?

With any of our skateboard options once used we are unable to offer any returns. In the case of a manufacturer defect though we will be happy to help assist.

How can I ensure the skateboard won't break?

This is basically impossible. Some skate decks, such as ever-slick are harder to break and about 5 times stronger than your standard deck, but even these break. Don’t be upset if your skate deck breaks, it’s only confirmation that you are skating it. Happens to the pros more than it ever would to you. When you push harder and have more intention and pressure into your tricks the board is bound to break.

Now if your new deck breaks within your first sesh there could be a manufacturer problem, and we will be happy to address that if you ever run into that.

Some of the decks we carry even come with warranties against breakage. If your deck happens to break early on don’t be scared to reach out to the brand directly telling them what happened, you might be surprised with their willingness to replace it.

What happens if my skate deck breaks?

If your skate deck breaks it doesn’t mean your skateboard is ruined, you simply only need to get a new deck, and have it gripped. You can normally still use your trucks, wheels, bearings, and hardware. Normally this is a good time to inspect those other components though to see if it’s a good time to get them replaced at the same time. If you’re shopping with us in-store this will also be a great time to get some assistance with swapping everything out for your new set up.

How fast is the process time?

Once you place your order we will immediately begin processing and building your deck. We will take into account any suggestions you put in the notes at checkout to best customize your choice to your parameters. The turn around time is generally at most a couple days, and will ship out within 3 days time.
